Montrose reunion in 07/08??

thats what im hearing some rumors going around. about a montrose reunion. dont know how truthful they are. but it would be cool.

Plus could leave time for mikey to join VH

sammy is not doing any full tours in '07... just a few shows here and there... and there isn't a market, i would think, for a full-blown montrose tour... it was an add-on to a few sammy shows a couple of years ago...

and a montrose reunion would have no bearing on whether mike would be asked back into vh at this point...

A Montrose reunion would bring about as many fans as Dave does for his shows, maybe less.

So I wouldn't be surprised if it happened next year, but to plan more than a year in advance seems unlikely considering Sam may have one or more other things to worry about after this fall (new album/Wabos tour/Chickenfoot album/VH recording and/or tour).

let's be fair... i think dave can outdraw a montrose show... montrose hasn't exactly gone down in history as a highly influential band with millions of fans... dave on the other has star power and the link to vh... whether fair or unfair, dave would outdraw montrose today...

i don't see sammy getting any VH love any time soon... if ed is getting himself cleaned up, i would imagine that anything tour-wise would first be with an eye towards going out with dave... with sam back in the picture maybe down the road... but that's all moot until ed is considered ready...

Actually I was wrong. Way less people would see Montrose- maybe 100 people at best.- no one cares about them at all. Dave can still draw a few thousand- saw him do it last year in the city.

What? Did he make an appearance on The Muppet Show that I missed? I don't recall him opening for a puppet show - he did do some Vegas lounge-type shows a few years back... maybe there was a fancy puppet show that followed some time after his performance? I doubt that one crowd would be attracted to both.

I don't know about that... I'm a HUGE Muppet fan, and if Dave were to show up and sing halfway decently, I'd be interested in the double-bill.
