Van Halen's Altadena--Los Angles house???

Anyone know when he sold that house? My G-Ma lives right up a block and I remember as a little kid some wild parties--LOUD music he had (early 80s). I didn't really care at the time cause I was like six or seven but my Uncle would go over there to party because basically the whole neighborhood would go!
I was there this Christmas and went by, big front gate you can't even see the house from the street.
I just wanted to know when he moved cause he can't still live there right? thanks for any info

Now those are the parties I would have love to have been at. I can't imagine partying with Van Halen during the '80s. I'm sure the folks that were there don't remember it either.
