Did anybody happen to see Sammy listed in the "thank you's" credit's for Grindhouse? Anybody got the scoop?

Yeah, I caught that too. It's surely because he approved the brand name use of Cabo Wabo in the film. The scene is in Tarantino's Death Proof, where Quentin himself appears as a cameo character, the bartender, who pours shots of tequila for the group of girls who later get terrorized by Kurt Russell.

Yes, it's a blue bottle of Cabo Wabo Reposado Quentin is pouring.

Can't believe I didn't notice that. I saw that the beers they were drinking were Shiner Bock, which I had to nudge my friend next to me--I had just been drinking that the night before when I had some friends over to hang out, and no one else I know drinks it.

I didn't notice it either.

I LOVED that movie however. What a trip. Exactly what a movie is supposed to be. Mindless fun.

I think they should do a sequel to this and the movies would be from the commercials they showed!
