When are you all going to realize that the "10 albums worth of material" that Eddie spoke about are the 10 albums that are already released?? The studio albums with the Van Halen name already on them are what we are going to have to live with. I can deal with it....can you?

Well, that's not totally accurate. It's well known that there are many, many unreleased songs from both the Hagar and Roth eras sitting at 5150. Probably at least 2 CDs worth of finished, complete songs. It's just a matter of someone else other than the VH brothers getting a hold of them. These songs will come out one day, that's for sure.

I remember an interview (right before the release of 5150) with VH in which Edward said they had completed 2 songs with Dave and were working on a third when Dave quit. The 2 completed songs were later to become Good Enough and Summer Nights with Sam. VH had just started working on Dreams when Dave quit.

The interview was in Musician magazine.

Nothing is totally accurate concerning Ed's statement. Take his words for what they are worth. The only thing to me that is worth a darn about what he said is the 10 albums we already have are the ones he is talking about.

I wouldn't bank on that, if I were you.

Betting on certainties at the Van Halen roulette wheel is a fool's errand.

Brew's right...this is all you can be 100% certain of, Van Halen-wise.
