Anyone ever notice Eddie never played the intro to this song on the Fair Warning Tour? Anyone know why?

When I saw this question I had initially wondered if maybe he didn't do the intro before the song because it was part of his guitar solo. But the only 1981 bootlegs I have that have Eddie's solo in them are from two of the Los Angeles shows, and he doesn't do the Mean Street intro in either solo. Maybe someone with a bigger bootleg collection can say if the Mean Street intro was played during any part of any of the 1981 shows.
Interestingly enough though, he plays alot of the Mean Street intro in his guitar solo on the 1980 tour bootlegs from London, Milwaukee and Maryland.
Also interestingly, Eddie plays Cathedral in the 1981 Los Angeles guitar solos.

He also didn't play the intro to Mean Street the couple of times they played it on the South American leg of the Diver Down Tour. It may have been like Glenn said, because he used it in his solos.

Kesslar said something about being drunk, but while Ed might have been on all kinds of shit at the time, from boots I've heard, his playing on the Fair Warning Tour was the best IMHO. He improvised many solos, and is playing so fast it's inhuman. The solo stuff on the "So This Is Love" video and the end of the "Unchained" video blows me away.
