"THE ESSENTIAL COLLECTION" - VH 2 DISC CD!!! What tracklisting would you give it?

I know we've had 2 compilations already and maybe one more this year. But what if they put together "The essential collection" with 30 tracks on it covering 2 discs. It probably wont happen, but might happen in coming years.
Not just the hits, but 2 discs spanning what you beleive are the best standard tracks they've done. I've put in instrumentals too, which have put it up to 34 tracks all up.

I consider it a VH song because Ed and Als names on it. Dave, Mike or Al had no playing on Spanish fly or Catherdral so therefore "Respect the wind" earns its place.

If I had to drop "Once" I'd put in "Without you"

No list can be taken seriously if it has a song from VH3 on it.

You've got 20 songs from the DLR era on disc 1. Then you've got disc 2 dedicated to Sam era +1 Gary song. Think about it, that one space you gave to "Once" could have gone to Amsterdam, Aftershock, Mine All Mine, Cabo Wabo, Feels So Good, Top Of The World, or Dream Is Over. All songs that are light years better than Once. Once is crap.

Don't need anymore fucking greatest hits compilations, but IF such a thing were to happen, release the Van HALEN and Van Hagar discs completely seperate from each other. And that means (to refer to the original post) you don't put Me Wise Magic on the Van Hagar disc!

I imagined that if I was to pick the VH songs that could be overburned onto a 90 minute CD, then this exclusive list, would be the songs that would make it onto that CD (for simplicity's sake, the songs are listed in album order, although I would fine tune that order later. . .) In other words, these are the VH songs that I would want to hear, Now! This is not a reminisence of what I would have put on a 90 minute cassette in the year 1984..... This is NOW !
