I got engaged last night.
Hi Everyone:
Seeing as how this is one of my regular community "circles," I thought it a worthy place to post this announcement.
My girlfriend of four years, Devon, and I became engaged last night. It was a spontaneous thing, though I'd been thinking about proposing for a few weeks now. We're quite happy and even went ring shopping this afternoon.
There won't be any serious wedding plans until this summer; the event will likely be sometime in early to mid 2008.
24 hours ago everything was "regular," and I saw no reason for things to change--then the moment was right, and I got impulsive. As of right now, all still hasn't sunk in!
