I remember I wanted to start this thread awhile ago but never did. Cinderella really doesn't deserve to be clumped together with all the other 80's hair spray bands. After Night Songs (a great album) I think they totally set themselves apart from the rest of the groups at the time. Songs like "the Road's Still Long", "Easy Come, Easy Go", this band just always puts me in a good mood. They just keep touring though, and won't likely ever put out a new album. Any thoughts?

Then I had the opportunity to see them live and they won me over.
They were tight as hell and they are good musicians..
Funny, I still don't go crazy over the studio stuff , but live is where it's at anyways.... They deliver !

Same here, back in their heyday, I didn't think they were special at all. Then I saw them headlining in '89 ( I think), with Winger and BulletBoys, and I was sold. Cinderella absolutely put on a fantastic show, the grand piano came down from the ceiling, all three bands came out and jammed "Sweet Home Alabama" and something else really out of character, and yeah...great live band.

Couldn't begin to guess where they are now.

they're nearly always ON... saw them for the umpteenth time last year with poison, and kiefer's voice kept giving out on him... i don't think they're touring this year, though...

i've met fred coury and jeff labar... really down to earth guys...

My cousin back in New Jersey is actually really good friends with Tom and his wife (I don't know if they are still married, but whomever he was married to about 9 years ago).

Their videos were cheesy but memorable... A good band, but not great...

Basically all three bands you mentioned are here in Nashville. Most of Cinderella is here, they were on a morning talk show a few months back. I was at a party (more of a gathering than it was a party) not too long ago with Kip Winger. There's this guy named Charlie Wayne that drove around in my apartment complex in a Mazda convertible like he was a rock star. I met him at the pool one day and he told me he was in the Bulletboys at one time...I still have no idea if that is correct...I really didn't care.

For the most part i have to agree with you. But since i have no guilty pleasures when it comes to music, i have to be honest and say i did(do) like
a few of those bands. Those being QR, Dokken, Great White and Y & T.

That being said, i wont be going to any of the shows.Oklahoma in July is like the freaking desert. Don't like any of them that much anymore to seat out in that heat. Even though i'm sure water will only be going for $5.00/ $6.00 a bottle.

This may look lame to some, but some of these bands I have never seen and would love to see them even now, plus its like 2 hours from my house so that is definitely an added bonus.

This thing is really drawing some interest. Getting a lot of calls and questions from out of state and out of the country too. ( so says the local rock station)

Apparently Traci(sp) Gunns said that Cinderella was going to be there. He forgot to tell Cinderella though. Now the powers that be are trying to get them.

I'm STUNNED at the interest.


In one of the forums, there is a "additions list" David Lee Roth gets mentioned
along with other bands who probably have no interest in this.
