When I see that video of Eddie talking, I see a man who really wants to be "back" on the scene once again. I feel bad about how his personal battles with the bottle have taken their toll on his mental state though.
Once the man is cleaned up I think he will once again be untouchable as far as guitarists go.
For the longest time, (I'm guessing mid 90's to early 2000's) I hardly saw a kid carrying a guitar case to school, which was common when I was in school from the late 70's to middle 80's. It seems however that the past couple of years I see kids playing the guitar again. If a guy like Eddie is active in the industy once again, those same kids that are now playing will have a new yet old act to emulate like those of my generation.
