Six Degrees (Charitable Donations Thread)

Hey guys,

Some of you may or may not know this, but my Mother was recently diagnosed with a rare disease, Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD), for which there is no cure.

It is spread genetically to children and can be fatal. I want to help find a cure or fund the development of treatments for this disease.

If you could please spread the word out there or post my link for donations or information on your websites that would be much appreciated.

Donations to the Myelin Project are greatly appreciated however, not expected. Just spreading the word will do great things.

On that note, I want to encourage fellow Linkers, if you have someone in your family, a friend or a loved one who has been diagnosed with a disease, lost a battle to one or would simply like to donate to any worthy cause (Habitat for Humanity, Susan G.
