MONTREAL- WHO CAN TELL ME WHY I SHOULD VISIT?
I thinking about going with a couple of friends for a long weekend. Besides the great strip-clubs I've heard about, what else is appealing about Montreal? What else is there to do there (during the day, when I'm not partying.) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Wolfie is not Mike, but he's more than ok.
Mike is gone, but not forgotten. They played some amazing shows from 2007-2015; some people are in denial about it.

If you have an opportunity to visit Canada, go for it. I grew up in Upstate NY, and visited Montreal and Quebec City many times as a teenager. They are both beautiful cities, and there's alot to do there. I would say I preferred Quebec city. I think it's about 2 hours NE or Montreal or maybe less. Old Quebec city is almost like being in Europe... Artists in the street, cafe's, etc... The plains of Abraham are very cool to visit: http://www.ccbn-nbc.gc.ca/_en/index.php
There's an awesome old-school hotel that overlooks the St. Lawrence River that looks like a castle... Some very cool massive Church.... Sorry, it's been awhile I don't remember all the names of the places...
Montreal was just kind of an Americanish city to me if I remember correctly. It was cool, but I didn't feel like I was in Europe like I did in Quebec city... Alot of people drank Orangeina or something there...
If you are going to drive all the way up there, do some cool shit.... You can go to a strip club in any town in New Jersey... I'd imagine American and Canadien breasts look pretty much the same anyway...

Montreal is one of those cities that will take care of you. You don't need a plan for what you are going to do during the day. Whatever you do at night you will end up making a plan for the next day etc. The partying is great but I would suggest going for atleast one nice dinner. There are so many fantastic restaurants. Every time I go I always have dinner at Jacques Villeneuve's restaurant, New Town on Crescent St. The main floor is a lounge, the second floor is the restaurant and the top floor is a dance club. It is always packed with the hottest women on the planet.
If you really need a plan for the day you can hang around Old Montreal which is adjacent to downtown and is like walking through a European city. There is also a casino if that is your thing.
Montreal is one of those cities I just never get tired of and I have yet to turn down an offer to join friends on a trip there. Luckily I get to go there every few months for work as well.Signature not currently available. You aren't missing much.

if you're going soon make sure to get tickets to a Habs game (in case you're not a hockey fan - the Montreal Canadians). It's the place to watch a game.
One of the guys mentioned Supersex - it's not to be missed.
During the day, the museums are great, shopping is real good. You'll have a real good time.

Those French-Canadian girls are something to be desired
Sorry but my Montreal trips during my UVM days was to:
a: get a case of Molson to bring back to the dorms,
b: drink a case of Molson while visiting the fine city of Mount Royal
c: to catch either a concert or the Habs play at the Forum
Then before driving back to VT it was a stop at the Club.
So perhaps my experience with the island is a bit limited
but I never had a bad time!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I hate hockey, but I like the idea of walking around, getting some beers, going to some strip-clubs, etc.
