Great Youtube performances....non-VH

Thought it might be cool to have a thread of people on Youtube that can really play. I think there's a lot of crap on youtube, but now and then I'm sure we all stumble across some quality non-VH shit that really stands out. If you've got something kick-ass then throw it in this thread.

Here's one that I think I first saw at VHLinks about a year ago but I just think it's so good it's worth sharing again since there are so many new people around here. It's a stellar performance by this kid who's about 14 or 15. In my opinion this kid has "it"....he just looks like a complete natural and this song really smokes as he gets into it. It's a song called "Canon Rock" and at about 40 seconds in the kid really starts to burn it up. I'd kill to be able to play this good.

damn...haven't seen this one in a while...i'm just as impressed with this stoic-square-faced-rosey-cheeked kid now as I was then...

That big biker looking dude could really rip it! The only guy I've ever seen bigger than him that could really play was some guy with Kansas about 5 years ago. This guy must have weighed about 320 with fingers the size of Fenway sausages but he was tearing it up....even on Dust In The Wind, a finger picked tune.

That guy playing that fucked up acoustic looking thing is somebody I've actually seen before.....amazing sound out of that thing.

Wasn't going to put VH covers in here but what the hell....

Here's a guy that does an excellent job on Spanish Fly played on a nylon string guitar. Overall it really sounds exactly like the version on VH 2.....just a couple of things slightly off.

STELLAR.

There's a guy on YouTube called guitarwannabee I think. He does the best Vh covers I have seen. His sound is almost identical. And he can riff like Ed. Not just play the songs.

That's some great shit right there. One of my all-time favorite songs.

It's pretty fucked up.....if that festival was held now you wouldn't even have VH on the bill and U2 would be the headliner. Never would have believed it back then.
