Sam's NAPA Commercial

So I'm sitting here watch a replay of the truck race from ATL this morning. I hear ICD55 come on the set, so naturally, I look up and see Sammy in Michael Waltrip's 55 NAPA car, donning an old school open face, red race helmet with a big white diagonal stripe on it.

Of course he singing "I can't ride in 55!", then it pops to him in a NAPA store acapella doing the same line, camera pans to Mikey W. and he says "I hope everybody doesn't do this."

Pretty funny if you ask me. Can't seem to find a link to a video of it...if someone can assist, my many thanks to you.

There is also a radio version of the spot that I heard this past Sunday. Also, yesterday I was watching snowboarding of some kind yesterday and there was a profile of one of the snowboarders and they were using "55" as the music. I was thinking that I've heard "55" on TV or radio probably 6 or 7 times over the last two weeks going back to the NASCAR pre-race performance.

there is a new one that was shown during the Nascar race that is better. michael & dale jarrett are walking done the hallway & you hear sammy singing can't drive 55. dale says to michale the music is to LOUD. michael opens a door & ask sammy to turn it down a little. sammy say's can't you drive Faster . that was classic & the look on michale face was priceless.

There was a really cool show on ESPN before the season kicked off that showed all the behind the scenes of the filming of those commercials. They really edited out some stuff. Some of the cut stuff was funny.
