What will happen when Ed gets out of rehab?

It will be interesting of sure. Assuming he gets his house in order (and I'm aware that simply entering a rehab facility is only the first step, not the "cure"), which could take some time, there are essentially two things that could happen

1) Goes ahead with the Dave reunion with Wolf on bass.

2) Re-reunites with Sam and Mike.

Seems to me that above all else, Ed was truly close with Sam, whereas he never was with Dave. Maybe if he gets sober he'll think that is more important. I don't know. The booze makes your reality distorted, so if he's sober, maybe all the stuff he thought about Sam will straighten out. It seems that Sam is a pretty decent guy. At least he's saying all the right things. Who knows though, behind closed doors, he could be a real douche!
