Hagar Talked With Alex Prior To Hall of Fame

During the press conference after the Hall of Fame Induction, Hagar mentioned he talked with Alex after the death of his mother, days before the ceremony. Appearantly, Eddie wasn't on the call because his rehab center doesn't allow it.

Hagar added, "Al called about that and said, 'Hey, Ed and I -- Ed's not able to talk on the phone from where he is -- but [we] want you to know that [we're sorry]. To me, that's a big deal. I called them when their mother died in the middle of the heat of the whole thing. It was after the tour, we weren't getting along. But that's things you do, your friends do that."

It is so great to hear that 50 year old men acted like, well 50 year old men.

It's hillarious we have to float their boat whenever they do something any 20 year old would do, let alone 50 year old.

All differences aside, these are nice guys. Alex has always said that their biggest disagreements have been about the music. I don't think they have little voodoo dolls wishing ill on the other as some would have you think especially about Ed.
