I saw all three shows in Detroit in 86. They were awesome shows! BTW, they played Joe Louis, not Cobo.

People from out of state usually can't understand that one. I had friends in suburban Minnesota who were allowed to go to Minneapolis all the time. Suburban parents back then weren't too hip on letting their pre teens to anywhere in Detroit. I barely got to go. It was my first hard rock concert. My mom dropped me and my friend off at like 5pm on the night of the 3rd show. We we waited for General Admission to open up and raced toward the front of the stage. I couldn't believe how close I was or what a huge moment it was for me to see Eddie Van Halen that close. My friend's mom had to drive us home. We told her to meet us at "the steps of Joe Louis" but she went to the wrong ones.
Awesome night. Still have the shirt.

I caught the show when they came to the Five Seasons Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in late April or early May i believe.

Wow. Twenty plus years have past.
