In the recent LA Times article Dave comments on Velvet Revolver and states "I have nothing against Velvet Revolver....I'm not familiar with their music....but that's MY 3 minutes and 22 seconds." Hmmmm...sounds similar to the 1996 VMA's when Dave supposedly said "Tonight's about ME."

That line was a bit odd. I see his point in a way, but it also can come across the wrong way as well.

Also it's kind of a shame he doesn't at least keep up with the current music scene not to know anything about Velvet Revolver.

Dave is right. Nobody gives a shit about seeing Velvet Revolver hack up some VH tunes that he co-wrote with Eddie... Everybody wants to see VH play, which apparently isn't going to happen. Did you really need a new thread to try and bash Dave, especially when there is already one open about Velvet Revolver playing the RRHOF?
