the negative effect of Wolfie bashing
Does anyone think Ed may have said "fuck it" due to the unfair bashing his kid is taking on the net? Once again to put it succinctly
1.) Mike rules, terribly sorry he's gone - but the chemistry is obviously not there.
2.) Sammy in Van Halen sucks period, though his solo material has it's ass kicking moments.
3.) Dave rules, his departure was no less catastrophic than Mike's - so anyone bashing the Dave/Wolfie tour is a hypocrite, or a lover of pussy assed AOR rock.
4.) Whining on the net will have NO EFFECT on the upcoming tour.
5.) Wolfie's skills are unproven - why doth thou pussy hurteth?
Do you think the negative hype derailed the tour?

Ed oughta know by now how rabid VH fans can be when it comes to lineup changes. Jesus Christ Almighty could be the new bass player and SOMEONE would STILL bash Him...LOL!
What Ed SHOULD have done to diffuse the situation was to keep the fact that Wolfie (or whoever) was in the band until they could get new music with said bass player out and let the music do the talking. If Wolfie can PLAY, I believe 99.9% of the bashing will cease...
