Does anyone think the Mighty VH will use the RRHOF event as a springboard to promote the reunion and tour? I remember alittle more than 10 years back when Kiss reunited at the American Music Awards.

The "Mighty VH" hasn't been mighty in decades, all they could hope for was to be "the puny", and even that they couldn't achieve.

I have a feeling that it is going to happen. Everyone in the band is going to be there. It 's the only way for the band to save face with its fans.

Your optimism is admirable, but unrealistic. Even if they all show, which is unlikely at this juncture, they're not going to promote a postponed tour while accepting the award.

I think it's possible. I've thought of that too. I thought that may be why Dave was reportedly upset with the announcement and how it was done. Honestly, though, I say it's a remote possibility.

Nope, it won't happen. Still, it is fun to at least ponder what the reaction would be if a) everyone showed up, b) dramatically told Velvet Revolver, "Thanks, but we're gonna play after all", and c) announced that they were ALL going out on tour together in the ultimate "two-headed monster" reunion tour. Too bad the RRHOF ceremony isn't on April 1st. It would make for one hell of an April Fool's joke.

Oh, and if my ridiculous scenario comes true, you should immediately begin placing your spiritual house in order while keeping an eye out for four nasty looking guys riding horses...
