Balconey seating starts at 2,100 bucks?

Christ, for that much a bag of peanuts should be included, at least.

"Winning bidder will receive 2 general admission balcony seats to the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Please note the balcony consists of 3 first come first served tables of 10."

wow, I can't believe they are even offering these. Is this a first for the Hall of Fame? I thought it was always closed to the public and tix went for at least $10k/head
Wolfie is not Mike, but he's more than ok.
Mike is gone, but not forgotten. They played some amazing shows from 2007-2015; some people are in denial about it.

Apparently, since there's no tour, they figure people will shell out even more money to not see them play, but you still get to hear some VH music.

I used to wonder why he was grinning all the time(Michael Ian Black talkin about EVH on VH1 I love the 80's) but then i realized the reason he's grinning is because he's Eddie F*#king Van Halen

i think it was something like $25M to reserve a table for 10, which puts the $2.1M a ticket in line with that... but geez...

Default Velvet Revolver set to perform in Van Halen’s place at Hall of Fame ceremony

Velvet Revolver set to perform in Van Halen’s place at Hall of Fame ceremony

    By M&C News Mar 2, 2007, 14:09 GMT

Not only will Van Halen not be touring with original lead singer David Lee Roth this summer, but now it looks like they won’t be performing when they are inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame. Instead, Velvet Revolver is set to take the stage in Van Halen’s place at the induction ceremony.

I really don't think it's going to be a train wreck anymore. I think it's just going to be uneventful. If Ed's not there, Al probably won't be either. Dave, Mike and Sam will most likely turn up, but I'm getting the feeling this won't be much of a VH-related event, other than their induction in absentia.

The whole band has said they will be there. But I agree it's going to be very uneventful anyway. They'll get inducted, Velvet Revolver will ruin a couple tunes and that will be that.

I doubt VR will ruin the tunes. I'll bet Slash and Scott are practicing their ass off on a couple heavier VH tunes. Shouldn't take him that long to get em down. Slash is a pretty damn good player.

Slash is not a great player, he's good enough, but he's no EVH. And his style is so opposite of Ed's, can't really imagine. I really don't think they're wasting their time on VH tunes, they have a real tour to prepare for.

what did i say different? $25M is shorthand for $25,000... it's not $25MM = $25,000,000... as a vh fan, think of why MCMLXXXIV is not some future date more a million years from now...
