Why not both singers?

Why doesn't VH just record with both SH and DLR. Sammy doesn't seem to be able to work with a song, run it by DLR or vice versa. VH could please ALL the fans, SH and DLR could both do their solo tours promoting the material, VH could join up for the "combo" tours... Yeah, I know, the lawyers would chew up the idea and spit it out, Eddie wants "to be a band", but beyond that why not?

I think having both singers would be a great concept but would sammy and dave go for it...touring together is one thing but if they ever did do a project together with VH would they fight over who gets the first single...or what if one seams to get more air play than the other? That would really stir up some shit...but then again it is the world of VH so maybe that would be somewhat normal..haha

Each singer would only have to do 5 or 6 songs. Dave has sold more records, but Sammy has had more hits. Put them together it could be a great album. There would be a lot of bitchin about the singer you don't like, but new Van Halen is new Van Halen!

I can accept two singers, two CD's, separate releases, but I would prefer Dave only.
