I've been off for a week and it seems like hell has been breaking loose!?

What's happening can someone help me to stop it for 1 second and summarize what's been happening for the two last weeks.

What the hell is it about canceling the tour? Whats that all about?

What about the Mike n Sam thing? What did happen there?

Is there any rage beyond stage that is unknown to me? That you guys know?
Please help me out and tell me whats going on here. Not too complicated though it sure is beyond stage

I bought 4 tickets to see the Police. Nothing happening so far in the land of Van Halen as far as the tour or future music goes.

• the smoking loon has reared his fugly head
• dave has come out of this looking like the voice of reason
• the lineup still includes wolfie and is not the issue, with dave giving wolfie props for making the reunion possible
• mike surprised sammy at a nascar event by showing and jumping in on backup vocals for '55'
• dave isn't sure if the vh bros. are going to show up at the RRHOF, but dave, mike & sammy will definitely be there
• valerie is NOT the second coming of yoko ono
• the tour is "a work in progress" and not cancelled as far as the vh camp is concerned
• the sammy vs. dave debate is still alive and well on these boards
• al gore's mansion consumes more energy in a month than most families do in a year
• one guy here came up with lyrics to rise and another put his vocals to it
• JTT has tracker issues that are being fixed
