I found out about it on a guitar board I frequent and the seller was local. Great guy, great guitar and a great price. He just happened to be chasing the new Ernie Ball Family Reserve Petrucci F-1....

I've got that exact guitar, the flame on mine is not as nice, and it's a darker purple - but everything else is perfect... Congrats! And what is a "Deluxe"? I thought it there were only Wolfgang Standards or Specials or custom shops?

My understanding was that all flame topped standards are deluxes and listed at $2199 while solid colored standards without the maple cap were the regular "standards" and listed at $1799. Of course, I could be wrong....

Yeah, it's a whole dumb sorted thing. I'll post the details later (I'm out the door now). Basically, only custom shop models are labeled "Deluxe" by Peavey. There are technically only two other versions of the Wolfgang, the Wolfgang (arch top) and the Wolfgang Special (flat top). Peavey makes no distinction in those with maple tops and those that are solid basswood.
