Shameless PROPS to Brett and the Mods

Brett/All:

I want to offer you some SHAMELESS PROPS for letting people post their feelings - positive AND negative - toward Van Halen.

I am a member of several forums - sports, music, photography - and all too often if a poster says anything that is less than being a total homer, they get run.

So, props to you and the mods for letting people speak their minds and RESPECTING their opinions - on all sides.

If I could only get JTT running smoothly again...here's hoping later this week.

I'm not Ed and Al's best friend because I don't back everything they do I guess. I guess that makes me less of a fan in their eyes and to others.

I last checked it a few weeks ago when I DL'd a TS show I had gone to a couple of years ago in NYC, so I didn't know... I have gotten so much stuff off of there... amazing how many people just jump off when they're done, though, without keeping up their share rating (my opinion is you should try to keep it at least 1:1). Good luck with the new tracker!

Do you get much interaction from the VH camp at all (not necessarily the guys in the band, but I'm assuming maybe their agents/mgmt)? Do they try to tell you to take things down? I guess I'm curious how serious they take fan sites like this.

I think I'm going to take the ratio back up to .60 again, .40 is just too low. I think the new tracker will work nicely.

The only time I have ever heard from anyone associated with the band was about 5 years ago when someone posted a picture of Val's new home. I got a call at home (my wife was home I wasn't) from one of Ed's laywers and they asked if we'd remove it, which I did. My wife said they were very pleasant on the phone.

I agree 100%. Thanks Brett and all the mods. I've been on this site for quite awhile now and it is by far THE site to go to if you are a VH fan. Yeah, it gets a little ugly sometimes but with this band you can't help it. Keep up the good work and I know you guys don't hear it alot THANK YOU.

~ It's total B.S. that as long as this site has been here and as many people have visited or posted that you haven't heard a word from anyone in or involved with the band for over 5 years.
