Two great talents but not enough room in this town for the both of them.

evh, that is the best description of sheehans playing.

i watched one of the vai shows on youtube and thats what i thought exactly, the dude just fucking makes guitarists look like crap on bass ... he's just that good.

and you are right, he's the wrong type of bass player for ed, it would be a clusterfuck. i don't think sheehan could keep the beat in the pocket the way ed needs it to be.
