Damn it's fun watching him talk. Thanks for the post. It can't be any earlier than 1986, though, as he discussed his '86 Eat 'Em And Smile record.

Dave was really coherent in this.

I could listen to this guy talk all day.

However I doubt this is from pre 1985...his face started to begin to age and his hair is starting to thin. Somebody on You Tube said it was 1991. Hence he is wearing a baseball cap. although he usually wears baseball caps so I don't really know what that means. However I don't think this is from before 1985. But I'm stupid.

Plsu he is discussing EAS album cover...that should have been a hint. I hadn't got to that part of the video when I wrote the upper half of my post.

Dave could have been a comedian though.........

I talk about how much we got paid for the US Festival...but once you've paid for your lighting, your manager, your staging, your limo, and your crew and on and on and on...the most I had left over after that gig was barely enough, barely enough for a brand new duel outboard offshore ocean racing yacht.

That might be...the greatest line I have ever heard this man say.

I'm just diggin' up this old thread and interview as little tribute to DLR. hehe
At the end of all things DLR is a positive optimistic fun loving soul who kicks ass and has a awesome sense of humor and the right attitude.

There he is an older guy in 99' still rocking and working his craft and STAYING TRUE to what he digs and wants to do. I have extreme respect for Mr. DLR! haha! I do though!

Still at it. even today all in shape and kicking ass in his 50's. I hope this stuff stays together and a DLR fronted VH is truly reborn. The new music will be like a long drenching rain after a torturous drought. Ok thats dramatic hehe but I'm excited to see new fruits from a new collaboration between the VH's and DLR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
