Default Possible leftover from III or next cd?

I had heard that several songs were finished before Gary left. Were they released or has anyone got any info on this. Thanks.

I have heard ALL the tracks. I am a very good friend of GC's and I can honestly say had this record happened first. The band with Gary would have been SO welcomed and STILL be making music. Minus all the bullshit that Eddie has turned into. The shit was off the fucking hook. Brad Starks heard some of the stuff as well from Gary. Killer stuff. No shit. Riffs that were vintage Eddie and great tunes. THE BIGGEST SHAME of all is no one heard that stuff.
'Rise' is a track, never heard, called 'River Wide' that fucking wailed. SHAME...

Several others to get into specifically, however..why? BIG SHAME.
Sorry to be a bummer, but I heard the stuff. Eddie was in TOP form and has gone further and further DOWNHILL since.

Anyway hope that fills in your question.

Early reports indicated that there was a song entitled "Left For Dead" that was intended to be on the second Gary era album. Is this the same "Left For Dead" that appears on the TOJ album? If so, should this be taken as an indication that Gary was allowed to retain the rights to some of the songs from the "Tabula Rasa" sessions?

Wow have things have changed, just from looking at that old website.

Promotional giveaways, asking the fans which songs they want to hear in concert, print articles, updates on what is being recorded. It is hard to believe that they were once a functioning band, but there's the proof.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Killer tracks, blah, blah blah...I remember hearing all this same talk before 3 came out, and 3 was well below VH standards. Same kind of talk when the new 2004 tracks came out....those were average at best.
