There is very little information yet on this, other than Pollstar confirming the continuance of something that maybe wasn't there.

What is this, a philosophy class?

So now we're left playing the "What if?" scenario until further light can be furnished on the situation.

What if Dave and Valerie (or Al, or whoever) got together and decided Ed really needed an intervention to deal with his serious substance abuse problems before committing to the tour?

What if the reaction the band was hoping for wasn't positive enough for the boys to decide it was worth it?

What if Val pulled the plug on Wolfgang playing and that sent Eddie into a downward spiral?

What if Dave just realized his wannabe band is in fact better than the real thing and has been for years?

What if Dave just realized that there ain't no way in hell Sammy would ever return to this crap and Dave now has the power to dicate things?

What if there just wasn't any real backing for this band to tour in a way acceptible to Eddie?

What if they realized they just couldn't hack it?

What if Alex just needs some more time to recover from his back pains?

i think we'd need a full 22 episodes to answer all those questions...problem is they havent been renewed for another season yet!
