The Confirmed Thread

I consider myself quite the patient man. I would say most diehard VH fans are as well, out of neccessity.
But even my patience has worn quite thin.
I realize in this day and age of the internet that there is going to be rumors abound, but this is getting ridiculous. What is legit and what is not?

So, let's have this single thread that is ONLY for info that has been confirmed by those sources we trust, for those microscopic particles of info that comes from the mighty vh-publicity machine, or from its state-of-the-art website. I would go so far as to suggest sticking it up with the other stuck threads and close it as well, for only mods or Brett to post actual confirmed info.

Or you can let it swing in the wind, unprotected from the masses of angry VH fans and delight as it slowly dies from being shredded, piece-by-screaming-piece, until it dies a natural death, used, abused, and spent of its' natural energy, depleted and raped, until it finally collapses upon itself and becomes the famous singularity of space in a digital realm, known in space as a "Black Hole", known in cyberspace as a "Binary Hole".

The only confirmation will come from magazine article from one of the band memebers 2 or 3 years down the road. I can't wait that long!

I think there are some confirmed statements from Dave and from Ed, etc regarding the RRHOF, as well as some statements from them re the current band and plans..but im so confused as to which is which, so if only those that have been confirmed are pasted here, it would help.

Let's NOT post anything in here that isnt considered 100% confirmed by the Links standards.

Nothing is confirmed in VHLand. Anything can change at any time. It will be confirmed when 4 people go out on a stage together in front of people.

Maybe we can save ONE SINGLE THREAD for mods to post what we know is reality, as it becomes confirmed. This is going to hopefully be something that is ongoing for at least the next 6 months, so it would serve us well to reserve a spot for stuff we know is legit.

Pls stick this up top and close it, limit it ONLY to mods and Brett for posting..

This board would be pretty damn empty if it contained confirmed only news. With this band the confirmed news is always about 2 months behind.

How is it some people cant resist?? The mods are going out of their heads closing threads that are duplicates, ridiculous rumors and so on and there is STILL piles of threads to discuss, bs, laugh, fight, etc about all of this. Post away in those!

Is it too much to ask for one fucking thread where you keep the useless comments out of it?

If you have something realistic or germaine to add and it progresses the aim of the thread, then post it. Otherwise,what is the point? We can wade through the 700 pages of other threads to find legit pieces of info..this one is for those who prefer their info legit and immediate.

Seriously though, the history of this band is that every day is a coin toss as to what is going to happen.

Even when Sammy was back for 2004 for sure, the state of the damned album, songs, traveling changed every 2 seconds almost certainly. People keep saying whey havent they taking such and such website down, probably because NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THE HELL IS GOING THROUGH EVHs head. If he announced today he was going to shave his head and help britney with her new album I wouldnt be THAT surprised. I suspect everyone involved with this impending disaster is just crossing their fingers and their toes, putting on their cup and hoping for the damned best.

What a bunch of damned children this band has become. Well, in reality, there is only one child, and it aint Wolfgang...its The Lead Guitar Player Disease. What a damned waste of talent.

All this and it ISNT EVEN NEW MUSIC.

The word CONFIRMED has no meaning in the VanHalenverse.
