Alex can't be happy that Dave is back frontin' the band, but he hasn't said a word. He's been adamant for years about never touring again with Roth.

Every time I see the new pic of the band in Rolling Stone, and see Alex standing there with that blank look on his face (granted, he usually looks that way), I can't help but think that he's gonna explode because this whole situation (w/Dave and w/o MA) is eating him up inside. He feels his hands are tied, but he has no say in the matter.

He's pissed, but he's just gotta suck it up and go along with everything because Eddie pulls the strings.

My sister used to let her friends walk all over her, and I knew she was unhappy and she knew only she could reverse the trend. Does that mean I don't think much of her as a human being?

Alex is in a position of power. If he chooses to make himself miserable than yes we wouldn't respect him as much of a human being. He'd be pretty spineless. I doubt your sisters situation is similar to this. I'm sure she is a lovely person.

LOL sure it does. Ed did the porno track without his brother, he's done things without Al.....he's a big boy. History has also told us that Ed hasn't toured without Mike, and here we are with teen wolf in place of Mike.

If Al was against this and Ed still wanted to do it, it would happen, shit, it's probably what's happening right before our eyes.

Alex is fifty something years old and has made pleanty of money over the years I'm sure hes not worried about doing this because his little bother says he has to, he is a grown man and if he did not want to do this he could simply say no.

Ed has never toured without his brother. There's no reason to believe he would. He's often said that he would never play with another drummer (I believe him on this one). Al holds alot of power in the band, how do you think they got Ray Daniels?

My theory still applies though. This tour will sell on Dave and Ed back together again. Missing Al, much like missing Mike, wouldn't help. It would cause a % (how big a % is the question) of the VH fan base to not attend, but it's not the equivalent to Ed or Dave not being there. This is their show. It will fail or succeed because of them.
