First off, I love Mike and want to see him on this tour. Eddie IS being a prick but is NOT a prick in general. That being said:
I don't think Eddie is only pissed about Mike in relation to hot sauce. I think he feels that Mike has been carried by the VH legend without being a huge part of it. Again, I think this is what Eddie feels, not what I do. He was there from the beginning and he should be there until the end. In defense of Eddie however I want to know how much MA really wrote of the VH songs versus just playing on them. Did he write Sunday Afternoon in the Park? I seriously don't know. If he didn't though, doesn't that give EVH some background for his asshole-like intolerance towards MA, even if it doesn't excuse him? I always thought the coolest thing about VH was the 'all songs written and performed by Van Halen' label on the liner notes for EVERY VH album but the BOBW GH package. Now... Two other questions. 1) Didn't MA choose sides when he was on a SH video where they were both in a car at the end talking about what 'the brothers' were doing right now and laughing about it. 2) Didn't MA say at one point that he would refuse to a tour with anybody but SH because Dave lost it? Let's not think EVH has NO grounds for being pissed, its just that if he can get over it with DLR...

Eddie probably has reason to be upset with Michael. Most here just don't care, they want a full reunion and think bringing Dave back and leaving Mike at home is a real slap in the face. Pretty understandable feeling.

Michael has seemed to pick Sammy's side in this whole mess and that's what has liekly got him into trouble with the brothers (interesting when you read what Sam said about Mike in his not released book - basically calling him spineless and Al & Ed's little bitch). If Sammy is to be beleived (and that's asking a fair bit) maybe the brothers were upset that Michael finally stood up for himself. But who knows. We're all guessing, anyone that tells you different is probably full of shit.
