So what does Mike Anthony do now?

He's not exactly in Sammy's band. Sammy and him don't exactly have a side project either (its talk to me-I'm a show me don't tell me guy). Maybe Mike should think about putting something together himself? I'm SURE that if he's not a top notch songwriter, he could pull people together to put something great together. I'd hate to see him just fade to obscurity. Discuss...Red43j

Actaully they do have a side project going called Chickenfoot.

Take it to the bank......Mike's not gonna fade into obscurity. We'll be seeing a lot of him and hopefully hearing even more.

I think Mike is gonna be around. Like LL said, he'll be doin his thing with Sammy. But, Mikey outta just sit back and watch what is left of the band he spent 30 something years in, spiral down. And maybe thank god he's not part of the madness that makes up Van Halen.

I can only imagine that his blood pressure is within normal limits now, being away from Ed.

I can give Mike something to do..........RELEASE ALL YOUR LITTLE VH TREASURES TO US HUNGRY FANS.

Mike will continue to play with Sammy as part of THE OTHER HALF as well as any other side projects that they come up with. I think that Mike has hung around with Sammy long enough to understand that music should be fun, performing should be fun and you should be able to hang around with your band mates just like family. Mike is a smart guy, he will now take it easy without any drama.

Not to sound like an idiot, but who's this Vinnie Paul character? Heard of him and everyone here seems to think he's the shit. Someone wanna give me the lowdown?

I think he outta work with The Nuge. Ted Nugent, that is. Maybe George Thorogood. They are great live and Mikey sure as hell can hold his own with practically anyone.
