Will VH get the cover

Is it true that VH will be on the next cover of Rolling Stone.. If it is i will be amazed....This is the kinda PR push that would great "DUH"... do they still have that kind of pull to be on the cover....

where did you hear they would make the cover? I doubt it, unless they paid Rolling Stone a nice fee

I don't see why they would make the cover, just becuase they are going on tour with DLR. If perhaps they had a new album out, and some good songs were coming out, then perhaps.

how about an honorable mention on the index page?? at least..
Since there are not a big pool of great bands around today.Im sure they can end up on the cover of the RS mag.Kids today like the cheesy rap music with 0 tallent ..I think this tour is a big deal..:joe

Despite all the BS that's gone on with this band, I believe Rolling Stone still thinks Van Halen are worthy of a cover.

Didn't someone say one of the heads of Rolling Stone is a chair for The R'nR Hall of Fame? If that's true, I think we'll see them on the cover.

I dont' think they will. For them to be put on the cover means a multiple page article about the band. I don't think Dave's interview is going to be that long. Its probably a one page article on page 15 or something.

yeah NoAverage...jann wenner is like head of the chair of the "hall of fame." he also is the founder, publisher of Rolling Stone. I think that has a lot to do with why RS is getting these VH exclusives.

Indeed, I think they will make the cover. Someone mentioned it's just Dave back in the band. That's a huge deal -- it's been 2 and a half decades since this inspirational band had Ed and Dave stand in the same photo...

Plus -- it's a cool f*ckin' photo!!!
