Most should have seen the RS cover with VH 2.0 (where did that come from?)...Anyway, let's see what we think about it.

They're thinking like this is version 2.0 of Classic Van Halen. I actually quite like it, it's a cool name. It's not CVH but shit it looks like it's gonna be fuckin awesome!

it's still should be either version 4.0 (4th incarnation) or 1.1 (version of CVH)... sammy was 2.0... gary 3.0...

I dunno. I guess the thinking is that if you consider Dave and Eddie the core writing team of the original Van Halen, then this is the 2.0 version of that band.

I think RS did it because it's cutesey and a very Post-2000 way of putting things. I don't think they put as much thought into it as you guys think they did.

You may be right, but in my opinion I think with Dave back it may be big enough news to get on the cover. That is unless Acon, Justin Timberland or some other piece of crap comes out with something new.

It would surprise me if the Police didn't make it on the cover 1st.

VH is back and thats that.

Who knows, maybe it's not over for Mike 100%. The VH camp has said some harsh things about Dave and Sammy and later worked with them again. Maybe after Mike is banished for a while he'll come back also hopefully with Dave still the singer... One can dream eh?

VH is not back for CHRISTS SAKE!!! Or whatever God you wanna put infront of SAKE!!! VH 2.0, VH Mk IV..watever...but this is not Van Halen.

Except their doing it backwards. All they had to do was do the CVH Reunion for a tour...then Ed could have done whatever he wanted. Now after this tour even more people aren't gonna respect them.
