    Default Black Stone Cherry

Anybody else into this band, I had heard a few of their tunes before, Lonely Train on the radio, but I really got introduced when they opened for BLS on their past tour. Black Stone Cherry rocked, they were so awesome, I'd venture to say I enjoyed their set as much as BLS.

They are a band from Kentucky, very strong southern sound. They have a ton of great tunes, Lonely Train was their first single, but Hell and High Water is probably my fav. Crosstown Woman and Rain Wizard are also very good. They list influences like Zep, Skynyrd, and Elvis, and it comes through. just a great suthin' sound, and not a bad track on their debut. If you ain't heard them, check them out!!!!

They are a great band. I think one of them is the son of one of the Kentucky Headhunters.

Listening to their debut right now, thought I'd give it a bump lol. They have a new disc coming out this summer. If you check them out, you'll like them, trust me

    Here's the new single

Saw them supporting Whitesnake and Def Leppard last week - lots of energy and went down really well for a support band. All good musicians though the drummer kicks some serious ass!

Not a bad new single, although the vocals are a little different than I like, sounds too much like Chad Kroeger or Scott Strapp. Doesn't mean its a bad song, just my take.

Folklore & Superstition was voted the 4th best album of 2008 in Classic Rock magazine (UK). Yeah, baby!

I really hope these guys - and Rose Hill Drive - break big in the US this year.

Saw them in 07 at Hyde Park Calling with about 30 other people. I said they'd get a lot bigger. Saw them in 08 opening for Def Leppard and Whitesnake. I hear they're gonna play Download Festival too. So might see them again in June.

New album is excellent - anyone looking for a new act to follow its worth checking out this band. Also touring the UK with Alterbridge in November.

I like these guys. Them and Black Country Communion are 2 of my favorite newer bands.
