Pic Of Eds New Guitar

The guitar looks unfinished with a new headstock (that looks pretty cool). There seems to be a something black towards the upper horn on the front? What the hell could that be? Can't make it out. Also can't make out if the fretboard is maple (probably) or not. Must be a prototype for the new MIM Wolfgang, eh?

That has a rosewood board. That would be quite a change.

definately a rosewood finger board, I can tell what is on the upper horn, it looks like a pickguard with a selector but there is only one pickup on this guitar...only time will tell I guess

I think someone on the main forum has said they think it's some sort of Godin/Line 6 thingy. Good Lord. What do you think about the body? You think Ed has finally gone to a MAHOGANY body with a maple cap + Floyd? Hmmm. I do like the headstock.

And the Smoking Loon wine. Anyone else find this ironic? Or just me?

Ed was perhaps "fishing" for a company to build his Wolfgang design or taking up Line 6 on an offer to build him their version of it.
