Yup... Geoff is nice guy and a crazy Wolfgang fanatic (he owns a lot of custom shop models). The site used to be wolfgangguitars.com, but when he started carrying the HP Special he made it a slightly more general place.

He's got some neat stuff in the care & feeding section that I used awhile back in addressing rough frets on the edges and also the cleaning/maintenance of the maple fretboard.

I realized that - I thought maybe there were others like me who hadn't seen it before. I wasn't claiming it to be brand new or anything.

And we continue to wait for the rumored "new" / "EVH Gear" / "Made in Mexico by Fender" Wolfgang...

you know, I'm kinda over the whole Fender/EVH thing, he needs to release the amp first of all. Second, who knows how deep the market is for a Wolfgang Fender relase. Surely the market has died down from the days of the Ernie Ball EVH and the orginal Wolfgang? There will always be the Edheads that will buy what he puts out, but I would venture a guess to say that its not as huge as it used to be. Maybe this next release will be bought be a larger audience looking for a quality guitar and not because its an EVH. Kinda like what happened with the 5150 series later in its lifespan. People started buying that thing cause it brought the rawk. But at the same time, Fender/Charvel seem to know what they are doing because of the fact that a lot of EVH fans are in the elder bracket with some spare scrill they are marketing and developing guitars that appeal to that market for nostalgia sake and although I can't say that I've seen the sales figures for the charvel's I can only speculate that they are doing decent, because whenever one comes into the guitar center where I live, they are out the door in a few weeks.

Both the EVH Gear Amp and "Wolfgang" will have to be one hell of an instrument for me to consider buying and/or replacing any of my Peavey stuff. I'm quite happy.

Yup, probably bought by some forum members here that's afraid to post that because he'll get slammed that there "Overpriced pieces of shit", "I can build one for $500", "Older guy's buy them only for nostalgia", My (incert guitar here) is better than that" etc.................

Thats why I haven't replaced my EBMM yet. I haven't found a better guitar yet.
