It's been ready since December 2000. Many people have heard it and right now it's Ed's 'skeleton' in the closet due to the spine-tinglin' quality of the material. Six plus years have left no moss on the rock but fresh ears are now on it and smiles abound. Ain't no twister melodrama or glossy HDTV valleymovie soundtrack flavors on this stuff.

Current events bode well for a revamp if Ed signs off on the beard's advice.

So Rick Rubin is the suspect, I don't think so.

Rubin is producing Metallica and Linkin Park at the moment, how the hell would he have time to work on VH? I suppose it's possible but my money is on John Kalodner who has said time and time again he would love to work with a Eddie and Dave project.
Of course time will tell if any of these statements are fact.

Please take note I did not call it a reunion.

I love this competition between insiders....everyone wants to take credit for "breaking the news"

Friends of the band....people in concert promotions.....roadies.....radio dudes....they're all coming together at the wire for a photo finish....who will wear the crown at our "insider"????.....only time will tell.....

That's what you come here for info. and when you don't have it you grunt and groan about the band not telling anything. i could care less who wears the crown but when someone comes on the board and say's something false and i believe it to be i think it would be wrong not to say so.

plus, velvet revolver recently broke ties with him because they felt he wasn't really bringing anything to the table, giving them enough input, etc.

he may be a talented producer (or the "it" producer of late), but who cares? i highly doubt we'll see new/unreleased material before the tour... but if they do put something out, i wish they'd call it "chinese democrasy" and kill two birds with one stone...
