Namm 2007

O.k. I was reading the No Teeth thread and saw the link Sucker put for the videos from Namm. I had never seen those videos from it before and I have to say I wasn't all that concerned with his teeth as much as his state of mind. And his playing seemed sloppy. I hope this is not a sign of his playing for the up coming tour. I mean as much as I was upset about Mike not being in the band as the rest of you. I still thought it would be nice to hear Ed and Dave together again. Also, I was excited to see and hear ed playing the old guitars again but after that video I don't know anymore. I play guitar and from a guitarists stand point he just doesn't seem like the amazing Eddie Van Halen I grew up with. Is it me or has he just lost it........

are you referring to the fender performance where he was hawking the new replica guitar? i saw those clips and felt like he had definitely lost a step, let alone not being completed lucid when he was speaking... this is definitely a concern for the tour, imho... we've come to expect a certain level of performance from ed, plus he's putting his unproven kid in an uneviable position, plus dave's voice could possibly be a question, too... we'll just have to wait and see, i guess... let's what the RRHOF has to offer as a preview...
