I can just see Wolfgang pleading with his dad to have permission to go over to Club Dave "for just a minute."

It just might be that Wolfgang is the REASON for the final actualization of Dave returning. "Please dad, get Roth back because you guys fuckin' ROCKED with Roth!" "Oh, and I want to play with you guys too. And check out Club Dave."

"Ok son. Whatever you want. I only have a little while left anyway. Might as well make someone happy."

Maybe Ed's looking for a little Club Dave for himself as well. As far as I can recall, Ed's had to more or less behave himself because he was with Valerie for SO long. When he finally had a tour as a single guy in 2004, he was drunk off his ass. Human nature being what it is, I can just imagine Ed thinking "I want to get me some of Club Dave before this new girlfriend cuts all this off."

Club Dave... strippers, midgets, parties, who knows what. Good times.
