    Default Merry Melodies Unreleased Question

So bootleggers and those in the know....

Regarding those four disks on this Merry Melodies set...

Other than the first three Lynch-masquerading-as-VH-tunes, how many of these tracks are actual studio demos NOT on the Zero or Warner demos, if any? My understanding was most of these songs are old live club recordings.

But are there any studio outtakes not represented on the other demo compilations?

And if so, which ones are they, and can anybody help me out or point a finger in a direction as to acquiring those studio outtakes, beyond Act Like it Hurts?

    Appreciate any guidance.

Been a while since I pulled it out. For the most part, it's pretty much old live stuff. No studio cuts not on other comps, but some cool live stuff that's hard to find elsewhere on here. Better quality versions of a lot of these songs have come out since it was pressed.

When I checked VHBoots.com, I didn't seem to find this extensive description of the tracks. Looks like all the studio outtakes on MM are also found on the Zero and Warner demos.

    Thanks.

Well it's still a nice collection to have to get so many things in one place. If my memory serves me correctly (without going back and looking through track listings) there's quite a few cool live covers with Sammy on vox. And for me, where my Sammy boots are dwarfed by my Dave boots stack, that was part of the reason for my purchase.
