take your whiskey home
I've been listening to WACF a lot lately and I'm particularly digging Eddie's acoustic work at the beginning of "Take Your Whiskey Home." I only started attending VH concerts in 1986, so of course I've never heard this one done live. But, if it ever was done live, did Eddie play the opening acoustically or did he play the part on an electric as he has done with other acoustic parts, including "Spanish Fly," "Little Guitars Intro," and "Finish What Ya Started"?

"I used to play the blues alone in all the local joints," he explained. 'The only thing that I can really play on guitar to this day is the blues. I heard Doc Watson and his son playing 15 years ago, and from there I got into Leadbelly and John Lee Hooker."--DLR
If I had one biscuit, and sam hagar hadn't eaten nothin' in a month, I'd break it in two and eat both pieces.--Loons, celebrating Van Halen with David Lee Roth ONLY !!!

Here's a clip of Ed playing it on electric. It's around the 1:28 mark.

It’s your fault for forgetting the oft-overlooked right to commit fraud in real estate and in presidential elections. Also, forgetting the SCOTUS precedent of “When you're pointing your finger at...
