I'd say if Eddie is spending time with Wolfie and Valerie then his priorities are right where they should be. Going on the theory that Dave is indeed back, the tour they go on will be very long, and so Eddie should spend all the time he can with his family now.

No I don't really see what you mean Madden? Eddie is a human being, and doesn't owe us a damn thing. Fans often go under the assumption that they are more a part of a rock star's life than they really are. Eddie has a family, he is 45-years old, he is not a kid anymore. His priorities have changed, just like everyone's does. I don't think music is any less a part of his life, but he definitely doesn't owe any of us an explanation every time he walks down the street. Gimme a break.

It always amazes me that people beleive that "bands" owe something to the fans. Ed's always said that he writes music for himself and if other's like it great, if they don't, that's fine too.

This is about as ridiculous as some people thinking that what we say here on the "links' affects VH's decision on when they're going to announce DLR.

of course I talked to him the other day
and he confirmed all this.....he also told
me that everything happens, WHEN it's supposed to happen and not a minute soonerother priorities were:
he said he was looking forward to taking Wolfie to school again and maybe catching up with Brett on the road, getting some golf in with OUin2golf2
and walking his dog Sherman. He said he was taking yoga lessons from someone named OLO. He also said "fucking"
a lot

Madden it's not like we hear reports of Eddie sightings everyday. Think about it, how many sightings of Eddie have there been since Gary left the band? Very few. I think Eddie has been working hard on the new VH album.

No, Eddie doesn't OWE us anything. It's called loyalty. He knows deep down how much the fans have made his life so great. He knows it. He SHOULD feel a loyalty to the fans to treat them with RESPECT. Keep the fans informed and treat them fairly. I know Eddie is the leader of the band so that is why I mention him and nobody else.Peace out.

Just to add a few more thoughts here, I don't think us fans made Eddie what he is, his talent made him what he is, and provided him with the lifestyle that he has. I understand that our purchases paid for things, but it just can't be looked at that simply. I don't believe that Eddie owes me anything, or vice versa. If he doesn't want to make an announcement, that's his business, just like it's my business if I choose to buy his next album.

As much as we want Eddie thinking 100% about making the greatest album in the world, he has a wife and child, and that should always be priority number one for him.

Glenn, you made me think a little. I guess maybe Eddie has different priorities than I do. That doesn't mean I am right and he is wrong. It just means we have different mindsets. Their is nothing wrong with that. Eddie is gonna do what HE wants to do. I give him credit for that. He aint no fucking robot and lives the way he wants to live. I wish he would put the fans first, but what the fuck do I know. Until I sell 65 million records and tour the world for over 20 years can I judge Eddie.
