I would just like to thank Eddie, Dave and the boys for doing this.

It's been a huge dream of mine since the mid-80's to see this happen.

Let me say this: VAN HALEN was the band that got me into rock-n-roll. I used to listen to Casey Casem and TOP 40, and a little rap.

Then I heard Why Can't This Be Love. Best song ever. So my buddy says give "5150" a shot. Best album ever. Then, slowly, I went through the VH catalog. About an album a month.

So obviously I never got the chance to see them with Dave. And I know it won't be quite the same as the 80's. And I am bummed about Mikey.

But I've grown up with this band and seen them through the good and the bad times.

But c'mon, people. This is ONE NIGHT. Just have a few beers, enjoy your friends, maybe a Jack or two, and fucking party.

Will the songs sound like the record? Ah hell no. But it will be one huge, fun party. Relive your youth. Think about people like me who never had the chance to see these guys live.

I saw Dave in Santa Cruz last year and it was one of the best, most fun concerts I've ever been to.

Maybe Wolfie will be shred like Sheehan on bass? Maybe Eddie will be reinspired to kick ass with his son on stage?

So, from the bottom of my heart, even if this is a cash-grab, I don't care. You can grab my cash anyday. Thank you Eddie, David, Alex, even Wolfie. It will be one magical night which I will never forget.

P.S. Please consider playing Yankee Rose or Goin' Crazy as well as doing an acoustic DAMN GOOD.

And if they will pony up, the Santa Barbara Bowl would be a great venue for you guys!!! ROCK ON VAN HALEN!!!
