Grammy chances?

Now that the band is re-tooled and back together, what do you think the chances of them making an appearance or performing at the Grammy Awards next weekend are?
The Police are opening the show, do you think that VH could close it?

Would the Grammy "people" not want to have a chance of a 1996 MTV repeat and not even ask them to show up in some way?
It might be a good way to show the world what Wolfie has to help ticket sales for all the doubters who won't go because a 16 year kid has taken Mike's place.
But it could also do the reverse and totally backfire.

Would VH accept an invite and do you think they have gotten one?

None. The story is the Police Reunion. They're not going to throw on 3/4 of VH too.

Truthfully though they wouldn't really need to anyway. They already have the big platform they need to hype up a reunion--the RARHOF ceremony. VH1 reruns that thing for weeks, arguably as many people will catch that as the one night the Grammys are shown.

A performance by the original four to close out that show, then immediately standing together and telling everyone to come see them this summer.

I could possibly see Dave and Ed as presenters, but that's about it.

The Grammys are all about the Police reunion. VH's time in the spotlight will most likely just be the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.

VH should be on the Grammys....tour coming up, another greatest hits.......who on their management team wouldn't want VH on that show...but then, maybe nobody "wants them"

The only 2 things I can come up with are.

1. that the Grammy commercials keep saying the acts and shit and then they say, "and thats just the first hour".

2. Tomorrow is a holiday so Wolfie has the day off from school.
