I will be there.
I know it's only 75% of the real deal but honestly what I've always wanted to see is David Lee Roth on stage with Edward Van Halen. I never thought I'd have the oppertunity to see it in my lifetime and I'm going to take full advantage of it. I still cannot believe it's really going to happen...I know it won't be the same as the "old days" but it's a close to that as I'll ever get. I will not pass this up, however, this doesn't mean I'm not extremely disappointed that Mike isn't there.

I will definitely be there. Anyone who passes this up is crazy. Might be the last time we ever get a chance to see them together. Saw 'em in '84 with Dave, saw 'em in '04 with Sammy. But that '84 concert stands out in my memory as the best ever. Even though I was on row QQ in the upper prom (about 6 rows from the back wall).

Tickets were a lot harder to come by then. They sold out in a couple hours.

I remember they launched in to Runnin' With The Devil about two-thirds of the way through the show. When the opening bass line started, a guy sitting on the row in front of me - who looked like he just made bail before he got to the show - was pumping his arm in the air so forcefully I was worried he might dislocate his shoulder.
