These guys are a new Aussie band with a sound very similar to AC/DC. The bands debut single "Runnin' Wild" rocks big time.

They really are amazing live

You think so? I saw 'em here in L.A. back in February, and I was not impressed. Loud? Check. But it was the wrong kind of loud. The "we're going to turn the bass up so loud, you can't hear any possible shortcomings" kind of loud. Just a terrible mix.

What they DO have, however, is energy.

Saw them here in Germany in June, and I can't say anything bad about the mix. Sounded good to me. And the energy was also there.
I think they're awesome live!

In the UK they were making MASSIVE progress and on the way to becoming huge. Magazines all said the same thing "They sound just like AC/DC, but right now AC/DC haven't done an album in years or a tour either so we need a band like this". Unfortunately for Airbourne, no one cares about them here at all now that the real AC/DC turned up. Which is a shame, still a fun band.
