Why no new news of the Reunion yet

Something tells me that their is allot of back and forth right now trying to save this "Reunion".
Who is in and who is out?
What are they going to do about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Who is going to control what happens on stage during the tour - Eddie or Dave.
Who get's to talk with the press for PR and what can or can't be said.

Funny or tragic how VH is handling their situation.

that would make sense, and I hope it's true.

Funny how all the "insiders" haven't had any real info for several weeks now and have gone silent. Or they just simply re-hash old information and call it an update

I'm starting to wonder if some of the fan backlash over the Mike/Wolf situation has Dave or the management a little concerned. I'm sure they don't give a shit about 99.9% of the stuff posted on the internet, but in this case it just seems that the reaction has been overwhelmingly negative everywhere I look. Maybe there's some worry about this tour being financially lucrative, given the mostly negative reaction by the fanbase. If you want to make the argument that "casual fans" sell tickets and don't care about the bass player (which is true in some cases), well, I know a guy who is a casual fan and he told me if it's not a real reunion he's not interested -- and I quote, "If all original members of a particular band are alive and can play their instrument, then there's no reason not to have 'em all up there".

I would guess that as soon as tour dates are lined up the barrage will begin. Hopefully before the RRHOF ceremony.

It might be that they're squabbling (Al vs. Ed) over including MA, but it's more likely that they're holding off any announcement until after the RRHOF ceremony.

Ed's so damned funny about publicity. I remember the 2 Dorks calling him right before the '04 tour started and him making the comment, "well, I guess the cat's out of the bag." This was when we were buying tickets to the shows!! Yeah, I guess the cat was definitely out of the bag, Ed.

I would imagine that they'll wait until the HOF induction to announce anything. That would actually make sense and it's not too far away.
