First hand facts about the guys in V. H.

Due to some odd twists of fate, I had a chance to spend a few weeks with a guy who works the vidoe cameras at all the big concerts, ( jumbotron I think ). Anyway, this guy has worked with everybody and had the custom road crew swag to prove it. He was not a bullshitter. He worked with V.H. from 5150 thru VHIII and here are the facts about the guys. This is not meant to be an attack on anyone, just the truth from someone who spent alot of time with the band. Sammy is a really cool guy and friendly to everyone. Not the brightest guy in the world, but totally cool any way. He would get lost going from the dressing room to the stage everytime, and had a rep as being not to sharp. Hes not a big drinker but does enjoy white wine after a show. Alex has been sober for many years and is very serious about staying that way. He is also a serious vegan. Hes not a very friendly guy, and can be a real dick. Alex runs the band and calls ALL the shots, not Ed. Its Alex's band all the way. Mikey by far is the most down to earth person you could ever meet. Just the coolest most humble person in the world. An awsome person who loves to party, in moderation. Eddie has never been sober at all. He was never seen much because he was with Val all the time. He would be totally hammered in his dressing room and Scotty Ross would give him a dry piece of bread every night before show time to help sober him up, but he never had a bad night as far as playing goes. Gary seemed a little light on his feet and was really kind of a irratateing goofball, and it was obvious to all in the V.H. camp, Al, Ed and mike included, that he was a bad choice from the start. Also, the reunion was on at one point , but this was about a year ago. So there it is, let the shit storm start.....

I still love the "story" from Sammy's "book" how Alex wanted to fight him when Sammy said something about Alex not deserving a big cut of the money because he didn't write anything.

Sammy would have kicked Alex's ass up and down Hollywood Blvd!
