Seeing that this upcoming train wreck is unavoidable, and this will be Must-See TV for all of us, who do you think will speak first? This will be fun to watch!

Okay I looked at the link, but I didn't see anything that VH1 had changed their minds to video the show and broadcast it. Did I miss something?

Eddie should be the only one to speak since none of these guys would be anything without him. Since all the others are just playing his songs and who cares about the bass, drums, melodies and lyrics anyways right? He's become quite the jackass and should have the full amount of time at the podium to prove it.

Following that theory, Matt Damon should take over for William Shatner on those "Direct TV" ads. After all, he is rumoured to be the "new" Kirk.

Prediction 1: They will all stand around looking at their shoes and briefly at each other, too uncomfortable to speak.

Prediction 2: As stated above, Ed will be the only one to speak, because as you know, he is Van Halen, and Alex is the "Other Half" of Van Halen. They are all his songs. With the exception of Lyrics and Melody (unless you count III, which apparently he did most of the Melodies for; and we all know how that turned out). Then Alex should thank his brother for the 30 year free ride he's gotten, and Mike can't say anything...

It will be The Mighty Van Halen. He's the VHs uncle who's real strong and
used to perform at Dutch carnivals. And he's perfect for it. Also plays a
mean tamborine.

I was thinking about that too. It should be Al since he is least likely to say something to piss everybody off. But I would love to see Mike speak first, and just talk about the past with Van Halen.

If whoever speaks can just focus on their history and not recent events they could all say something great. IMHO
